【Langara College】International Student Depositの支払い方法
今回は、やや手を煩わせたInternational Student Depositの支払い方法についてまとめます。
International Student Depositとは？
BC Education PlannerからLangara Collegeに申請後、Acceptance Letter（LOAの一歩手前）が届きます。
このメールで「International Student Deposit（$6,000）を支払うように」と指示されるので、Langara Collegeの学生用プラットフォーム「Student Information System」を通して振り込みをします。

International Student Deposit入金の流れ
International Student Deposit入金の流れを見ていきましょう。
Student and Employee Information Systemにログイン
まずはAcceptance Letterに記載されていたLangara IDとPasswordを参照し、Student and Employee Information Systemにログインしましょう。
Commitment Fee Paymentを選択
縦長なメニュー画面が出てきますので「Commitment Fee Payment」を選択します。
（時間によってはメンテナンスのために(unavailable)と表示され、選択できないこともあります。）
Semesterを選択
上記の画面が出てきたら、ドロップダウンメニューから対象学期を選択しましょう。
対象学期がない場合
私の場合、ドロップダウンメニューに「Spring 2022」が表示されませんでした。
そこでInternational Admissionsに問い合わせたところ
「他の学期を選択して支払いし、支払い完了後にその旨を知らせてください」
という返事をいただきました。
クレジットカードかオンラインペイメントで支払い
対象学期を選んだ後はクレジットカードかオンラインペイメントで支払いです。
支払い後、International Admissionsに連絡をし、無事にDeposit確認の連絡をもらいました。
ちなみにStudent and Employee Information Systemのメニューから
Registration＞Account Balance & Payments
を選択することで$6,000が入金できているか確認することもできます。

Langara College Web and Mobile App Design and Development(WMDD)へ申請するための提出書類についてまとめました。
申請期間
プログラムの申請期間は、プログラム開始の11ヶ月前〜最初の授業の開始前までです。
ex) 2022/01開始のプログラムの申請期間 → 2021/02〜2021/12

英語スコア
Langara Collegeでは申請するプログラムによって、求められる英語スコアが異なります。
- Category1
- Category2
- Category3
に分かれているため、こちらで確認しましょう。
ちなみにWMDDはCategory2となり、IELTS6.5以上のスコアが求められました。（他にもTOEFLスコアなどが適用可能）
大学の卒業証明書・成績証明書
卒業する大学に発行してもらう必要があります。
英文での発行です。私の母校では、ホームページから申請できました。
高校の卒業証明書・成績証明書
卒業する大学に発行してもらう必要があります。
英文での発行です。
成績証明書については、卒業から一定期間が経過している場合、発行不可の可能性があります。
その場合は、発行不可である旨が記載されている高校からのレターで代用可能です。
Letter of Intent
以下2点に対する解答を英文で書くことになります。
- なぜ、本プログラムに興味があるのか
- 本プログラムが自分のキャリアゴールにどう関与するのか
記載にあたって注意したいのは、以下の点です。
- PDFファイルで提出
- 最大2ページまで（最小は記載なし）
- Letter of Intentの雛形に従って記載すること
申請書類の提出先
オンライン上からの提出が推奨されています。
カナダ BC州のカレッジを一括するWebサイト「Education Planner BC」から申請を進めていきましょう。
